Medical Residents Lacking Substance-Abuse Training

A recent study reveals a lack in substance use disorder training in our nation’s doctors. Resident doctors note that one in four inpatients have a substance use disorder. Among these residents, majority note that they feel unprepared to treat addiction with their knowledge and training.
